The Myle V5 Meta is a small closed-pod vape: a 380 mAh USB-C device that takes pre-filled Meta pods of about 2 ml each, which we sell in 5% (50 mg) salt nicotine. With us the kit costs AED 35–40 depending on colour and pods are AED 40 at the time of writing, in 12 flavours. It suits people who want something smaller and cheaper to start than a JUUL 2, and who are comfortable with a higher nicotine strength.

Myle states that Meta pods are compatible only with the Meta device, so older Myle V4 pods will not fit, and Meta pods will not fit a V4. Myle also sells Meta pods in 2% strength in some markets; the pods we stock are 5%.
How does the Myle V5 Meta work?
The battery and electronics sit in the device; the e-liquid and coil sit in the pod. When you draw, the device heats the coil in the pod and vaporises the liquid. When a pod is finished, you throw away the pod and keep the device, which is the basic difference from a disposable.
Setting up a new pod:
- Charge the device with a USB-C cable before first use.
- Remove any rubber stopper from the pod. Myle specifically warns about this; a stopper left in is the most common reason a new pod does nothing.
- Pull the seal tab on the pod if it has one. This opens the tank so liquid can reach the coil.
- Click the pod into the device.
- Wait about 60 seconds before your first draw so the coil can soak up liquid. Myle recommends this, and skipping it is how people get a burnt first puff.
- Take slow, steady draws. Salt nicotine at 5% is strong, so you do not need long pulls.
How long does a Myle V5 Meta pod last?
Myle rates each Meta pod at about 2,000 puffs. Treat that as an upper figure: puff ratings come from the manufacturer’s own testing with short, even draws, and longer draws use more liquid per puff. There is no industry standard for counting puffs, so you cannot compare Myle’s number directly with another brand’s.
What actually ends a pod:
- The liquid runs out. Check the pod’s window; once it is near empty, the taste turns harsh.
- The coil wears. If the flavour goes flat or slightly burnt while there is still liquid, the coil is tired. Switch pods.
- Heat. Leaving pods in a hot car or in direct sun thins the liquid and can cause leaking. In the UAE summer, keep the device and spare pods with you, not in the car.
A practical tip: if you vape heavily, rotate between two pods of different flavours. It reduces flavour fatigue and gives each coil a moment to re-soak.

If the device is cracked, swollen or gets hot, stop using it. When it is finished, take it to an e-waste point rather than the household bin.

The biggest difference is nicotine. At 50 mg/ml, our Myle pods are nearly three times as concentrated as JUUL 2’s 18 mg/ml. Someone moving from Myle to JUUL 2 will usually find it lighter and may vape more often; someone moving the other way should take noticeably shorter draws at first. On cost, the Myle is cheaper to start and its pods are slightly cheaper per ml (about AED 20 per ml against about AED 23 for JUUL 2 at our prices). Myle V5 Meta vs disposables
Myle’s own Meta 9000 disposable is the obvious alternative: 18 ml of 5% liquid and a rechargeable 850 mAh battery for AED 45, which is far cheaper per ml than any pod. The pod system wins on other points:
- Size. The V5 Meta is pocket-sized; an 18 ml disposable is not.
- Variety. You can switch flavour every pod rather than living with one flavour for weeks.
- Less waste. You throw away a small pod, not a whole device with a battery every time.

Usually because it was used before the coil had soaked. Remove any stopper, pull the seal tab, fit the pod and wait about 60 seconds before the first draw. If the pod already tastes badly burnt, the coil is damaged and the pod should be replaced.
